Historic Reflection: 1937 – Lyons Harmonica Band

Forty members of Lyons, Ohio, High School’s Harmonica Band entertained members of Pike Township Parent-Teacher Club at its meeting Friday evening and won enthusiastic applause. Mrs. Audrey Lee Myers, leader, arranges the music for the group which plays for high school functions and the football games. Club members are: Top row, left to right, Mrs. Myers, Metha Burroughs, Betty Maloy, Betty Lou Burry, Elizabeth Ann Tredway, Robert Granger, Dorothy Smith, Betty Stephenson, Helen Stubbins, Isabelle Cleghorn, Gertrude Sullins, Colleen Hildreth, Ruby Richardson, Margery Kemp. Second row, Jean Maloy, Alta Belle Sallows, Arlene Potes, Wayne Stephenson, Gene Craig, Clarence Gleckler, Willis Miller, Ruth Rupple, Helen Mika, Susie Vince, Grace Markley, Beatrice Welch, Rosella Mallory.
