On April 10th, 2019 the Hicksville Police Department with the assistance from the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Toledo Police Department conducted a sexual assault investigation that took place in the Village of Hicksville. A male suspect has been arrested and was charged with Rape, a Felony of the 1st degree.
Later details were released on April 16th, 2019 stating Clementino Co-Juc, age 18, an Illegal Immigrant who was living in the Village of Hicksville was charged with the crime. Cu-Juc made an appearance in Defiance Municipal Court on April 15th, 2019. His hearing was continued until April 17th, 2019 in Defiance Municipal Court. The Defiance – Paulding County Consolidated Job and Family Services also assisted the above agencies in the investigation.
CCNO booking details states Cu-Juc was involved in sexual conduct with a minor under the age of thirteen years old.
