Keith E. Keivens Jr., age 41, of Delta, unexpectedly passed away at his home Saturday morning, June 2, 2018. He was born in Toledo on July 4, 1976 to Keith Keivens Sr. and Sandra (Keller) Keivens who survive. Keith graduated from Rogers High School in 1995. After high school he became a Journeyman Floor Layer. Later Keith became owner and operator of KJ’s Flooring. After 15 years together, on June 25, 2016 he married Beth Ann Lowery. Keith had a passion for fishing, especially on Lake Erie. He was an advocate and member of A.D.A.M.S House Intervention. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Beth Ann Keivens; children, Logan Alexander Keivens, Alex Edward Keivens and Taylor Michael Carson; mother, Sandra Jean Keivens; father, Keith E. Keivens Sr.; brother, Timothy Keivens; sisters, Shelly Keivens and Kristy (Rob) Shinaver; paternal grandmother, Grace Keivens; sister-in-law, Crystal (Dan) Tatkowski; and many loving nieces and nephews. Keith was preceded in death by his grandfather, Wade Keivens; maternal grandparents, Frank and Delpha Keller and infant twin daughters, Jean and Marie Keivens.
Friends will be received from 5:00 – 8:00 PM on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy. 109 in Delta; with a funeral service honoring Keith’s life beginning at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 8, 2018 also at the funeral home. Pastor Jeff Davis will be officiating. Interment will follow at Dutch Ridge Cemetery near Delta.
