Larry R. Lawrence, age 66, of Bryan, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2019, in his home after a sudden illness. Mr. Lawrence was a 1972 graduate of Swanton High School and later received his degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Toledo.
He was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from the Air National Guard, serving with the 180th Fighter Wing in Toledo, Ohio. He was a former pilot, was a member of Whitehouse American Legion Post #0384, and enjoyed sailing. Larry was also very artistic and enjoyed drawing and sketching.

Survivors include his mother, Betty Lawrence, of Swanton, Ohio; two sisters, Connie (Roy) Gillen, of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, and Janet Lawrence, of Swanton; one brother, Lee Lawrence, of Edon, Ohio; and his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2019, from 3:00-7:00 P.M. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edon, Ohio. A grave side service will be held in Wakeman Cemetery, Waterville, Ohio, on Friday, October 25, 2019, at 11:00 A.M. with grave side military rites conducted by Whitehouse American Legion Post #0384 and the United States Air Force Honor Guard.
