Board_Laurie 2Mrs. Suntken was recently recognized for completing her four year term as a Wauseon Board of Education Member during her last official board meeting. Mrs. Suntken and her husband, Chad, have two sons, Ty and Nathan, who have recently graduated from WHS. Their youngest son, Grant, is currently a Wauseon HS student. Laurie has a long history of providing volunteer service to each of the Wauseon Schools.

Mrs. Suntken shared her personal thoughts about her experience serving on the board. “I would like to thank the Wauseon Community for allowing me to be their voice for the past four years on the Wauseon School Board. It was both an honor and privilege to serve with such distinguished board members and talented administrative team.”

On behalf of the nearly 2300 current and former students, the Wauseon Exempted Village Schools’ staff and board members, we would like to thank Mrs. Suntken for her voluntary service to our schools and the community.
