Local Obituary: Ricardo Villalovos (1956 – 2025)

Ricardo C. Villalovos, age 69, of Fayette, OH passed away peacefully in his home on January 17, 2025.

He was born January 10, 1956, to Edmundo and Guadalupe Villalovos in San Antonio, TX. He put 25 years of hard work and dedication as a maintenance man at the Salvation Army in Colorado Springs.

He also attended New Hope International where he was a dedicated and faithful member. He loved his dog Vera and prioritized family. You could find him binge watching his favorite western tv series Gunsmoke.

He is survived by his two children; Heather Villalovos (David Stephens), and Ronnie Snyder and three grandchildren; Tristan Hogan, Gabriel Hogan, Angelique Hogan.

He is survived by numerous brothers and sisters: Ray (Joanie) Villalovos, Pete (Deborah) Villalovos, Roger (Patricia) Villalovos, Olga (Ismael) Lerma, Robert (Amalia) Villalovos, Evangelina Cruz, Ruben (Barb) Villalovos, Eddie (Jay) Villalovos, Belan Villalovos, Barb (Rick) Moden, Arleen (Leslie) Lindsay, and Eric (Brandy) Villalovos. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

He was proceeded in death by his wife Karen Villalovos; his parents Edmundo and Guadalupe Villalovos; his sister Debbie Villalovos; his niece Sara Nichole Villalovos; his great nephew Nicholas Raul Saldivar.

A memorial service will be held at New Hope International on a later date. A celebration of life will be held on a later date.
