THE VILLAGE REPORTER

The Lyons Royalton Fire Department rescued an injured / sick Bald Eagle following a report from a concerned citizen.

EMT Tim Ellithorpe met with the concerned citizen who had stopped by the station. Tim was informed that there was an eagle hurt up the road.

Following the report, he went down the road to the 15000 block of 13-1 and found the eagle. Officer Ethan Bingham with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources was contacted and came to retrieve the bird, which was taken to the Natures Nursery in Whitehouse to hopefully be rehabilitated.
