DOING WHAT SHE LOVES … Horticulturist Angie Girdham of Hillsdale College will lead a centerpiece class at the Williams County Master Gardeners Centerpiece Class.

In many families, the holiday table and the fun and fellowship of a Christmas feast is the highlight of the whole Christmas season. Whether you decorate the rest of your home or not, you’ll likely want to add a festive touch to your table. Christmas centerpieces are the perfect way to create a warm and celebratory mood for your family and your holiday guests.

The Williams County Master Gardeners will be hosting a Create Centerpiece Class on Tuesday, December 3, 2013. The class will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Gillette Building on the Williams County Fairgrounds in Montpelier. To register for the class, contact the Williams County OSU Extension Office at 419-636-5608. The class is limited to 20 and there is a fee for supplies.

Angie Girdham, Horticulturist at Hillsdale College, will be instructing the class. Participants will be making a centerpiece of evergreen with candles. Everyone is encouraged to bring 2 tapered candles, decorations, ribbon with wire and other embellishments to complete their centerpiece.
