Montpelier Area Foundation Awards Grant To Williams County Sheriff’s Office

GRANT MONEY … The Montpelier Area Foundation awarded a $760 grant to the Mounted Division of the Williams County Sheriff’s Department. The money was used to purchase trauma medical kits and train special duty officers on quick response first aid during emergencies. The Mounted Division also bought reflective leg wraps for their equine partners. This will help to increase visibility of the horses and officers to auto and pedestrian traffic during evening and night hours.
