(December 19th, 2014) – ARCHBOLD: The Lady Locos set forth on a course to Archbold to take on the Blue Streaks in North Western Ohio Athletic League (NWOAL) action of Friday.
Montpelier had a difficult time keeping pace with the Archbold girls, losing the contest 60-42.
Turnovers plagued the Locomotives throughout the evening. They committed 25 of such errors against the Blue Streaks. This kept the Montpelier girls from getting into a groove offensively.
That didn’t stop Hannah Blake, however. The Locomotive junior scored 23 points for the Locos, hitting 2 three-point attempts and 6 two-point field goals as she did so. McKenna Quaderer added 7 points to the Montpelier total. Senior Baylee Hageman scored 3 baskets from the post for 6 points as well.
The loss puts Montpelier at 3-4 on the year, though all four losses have been to NWOAL teams.
