Montpelier Earns Top Seed As Boys Basketball Tournament Pairings Are Announced

Newly crowned Buckeye Border Conference champion Montpelier was the lone area squad to earn a No. 1 seed in the Ohio High School Athletic Association boys basketball district tournament pairings.

The Locos (20-2) will host No. 8 seed Fayette (5-16) in a sectional final on Thursday, February 26 at 6 p.m.

Other area teams earning first round sectional final home contests were Archbold, Wauseon, Stryker, Edon and Pettisville.
