House of Prayer Youth Coordinator, Michael Wortkoetter is helping to lead the Montpelier High School FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) this year.

The group decided that they would like to have some place to hang out after their basketball home games and a plan has been hatched.

They have decided to “host a healthy place for students to hangout” after the games and the events are open to any junior high and high school students.

The dates that are scheduled are January 6, 13 and 27 as well as February 10 and 17.

Kids can make their way to the Hope Community Center located at 223 W. Washington St. in Montpelier following the games.

They will be offering pizza and refreshments and are looking for sponsors for the five nights they will be held this season.

On the first night, January 6, 2023 they will be getting pizza from Marco’s in Montpelier.

Wortkoetter said they will be covering the food for this one but if someone wants to cover it, they could reimburse the FCA.

Any business, group or individual who would like to be the financial backer for one of these nights can contact Michael at 419-451-8447 or Michael.wortkoetter@hop4jc.org.

He also welcomes any questions from students or parents concerning this venture.
