Montpelier, Ohio – October 1, 2012 – The aspirations of high school students vary – from professional athlete or rock star on down.  Probably few look to the same sort of future as Alex Cook.  Alex is a senior at Montpelier High School with a highly creative interest in pottery.  After high school, he would like to attend art school and, eventually, open an art store.  But Alex doesn’t just want to sell art, he wants to teach it – providing classes for the public – especially in ceramics.

Alex takes a very different view of pottery.  He creates small but imaginative pieces in clay that experiment with form, color and connection.  Alex’s work is more sculptural than practical – some is abstract and others more decorative.  Each piece is different.

Kannel Superior Agency, Inc. is proud to feature Alex’s work in their office and invites the public to stop in and see his sculptural pottery during the months of October and November.  The office is located at 301 West Main Street, at the heart of historic downtown Montpelier.  For more information, contact Chris Kannel at 419-485-4281 or chris@kannelinsurance.com.
