MONTPELIER, August 18, 2014: The Montpelier Locomotives paired up with the Edgerton Bulldogs at home for a matchup on the links on August 19, taking down the visitors by 20 strokes with a 189-209 victory in non-conference play.
Individually for the Locomotives on the afternoon, Sam Rings turned in a 43 to lead the way for Montpelier and report the low score of the match. Hunter Shaull shot a 45 on the afternoon while Andrew Luke turned in a 48. Also for the Locos, Clay O’Neil came in with a 55 and teammates Austin Schudel and Beau Rupp turned in a 53 and 71 in the victory over Edgerton.
