(September 25th, 2014)-MONTPELIER: From the brink of a loss, Montpelier was able to battle back and force a fifth game in a series against Holgate.
The Lady Locos took game 1 of the match 25-22. The Lady Tigers came back strong, however, winning the next two sets 25-15 and 25-14. With their life in the match on the line, Montpelier scrapped by in game 4 25-23. Holgate took control in game 5, and the Locos dropped the set 5-15.
Sidney Houk led the way for the Lady Locomotives, recording 30 digs, 11 assists, 11 kills, and a block. Fellow Loco Christy Duchene also had 30 digs, also making 4 assists and 2 aces. Maddie Richmond contributed 13 assists, 8 digs, 3 aces, and a kill in the loss.
