Moore Industries Inc. in Montpelier Ohio is planning an 18,000 square foot expansion that will lead to the creation of 12 more jobs.

These 12 jobs will add an additional $300,000 in payroll to the area. 6,000 square feet will be added to the current molding bay with the remaining 12,000 feet being made into a kind of warehouse area.

Work on the project has already begun and the expected time of completion is around June of 2022.

With over 80 employees already working at Moore Industries, the additional 12 jobs represent an increase in their workforce of 15% which is not a small number for any company.

In addition to the new employees and expansion, the company will also be receiving a 10-year tax abatement at 75%.

This agreement also includes Moore Industries as a member of WEDCO. The regular school taxes will be paid with no new donations being made.

The company will, however, have to pay 1% donation to the new Infrastructure Fund for Williams County. All of this together will save the company $15,000 annually.

Moore Industries is a small, family-owned business that offers a wide range of custom injection molding for their customers.

The company itself was formed in 1984 and has been expanding since. The company is able to use robotic technology to serve many different industries from automotive, to lawn and garden, to furniture, medical products and much more.

The companies continued growth is a testament to the ingenuity and reliability of the people who live in Northwest Ohio.
