Noelle Goodson is a senior at Fayette High School. She recently had the honor of singing the national anthem in Schottenstein Center at Ohio State University on Saturday, March 23rd. During her whole high school career she has been privileged to sing the national anthem during most of the varsity boys and/or girls home basketball games.

However, this was her biggest opportunity as she sang it in front of a crowd of 10,265 people. Noelle said it was a great experience and the staff of OSU really gave her royal treatment. Her family also received tickets and had the opportunity to watch the final game between Leispic and St. Joseph. Noelle recently found out about another opportunity to sing the national anthem in “The Stand and Be Heard” singing contest and plans to enter. The four finalists would win a college scholarship along with a trip to Nashville.
