North Central Crosses Into Indiana For A Non-Conference Showdown With Fremont

FREMONT, IND: April 11– The North Central Lady Eagles crossed the state line into Indiana on April 11 for a showdown with Fremont, prevailing 14-5 in a border state rivalry.

On the mound for the Lady Eagles, Jazmine Becker went the distance, giving up 12 hits and allowing 5 runs to earn the victory.

Offensively for North Central, Makayla Hayes hit one out of the park and was credited with 3 RBI’s. Alyssa Swank carried the big bat, driving in 3 runs off of a single and a double; Rachael Oxender had an RBI off a single and a double while Abbey Litzenberg had a single and a double in the game. Also for the Lady Eagles, Rachael Shipman connected for a single driving in a run in the victory.

The win moves the Lady Eagles to 2-6 on the season and remain at 0-2 in the BBC.
