Junior High Cross Country MVP: Easton Fidler – Alongside Easton’s positive attitude and eagerness to work hard, Easton had a successful season. Easton was a dual sporter but did not let that slow his progress down.
Easton secured a 2nd place finish at a tri-meet, earned 34th place in a race with over 260 competitors, and a 61st place in a race with over 300 competitors.
All other races Easton competed in he placed in the top 19. Easton began the season running a 14:19 and ended the season running a personal best of 12:54, shaving 1 minute and 25 seconds off his time. Easton was an asset to the team and ended the season placing 10th of 31 in the BBC.
Junior High Football MVP: Leeam McElroy – Leeam showed up everyday and worked hard. Leeam was also coachable and made impacts in games when he needed to.
Junior High Golf MVP: Easton Fidler- Easton consistently worked hard to improve his game, keeping his grades up and dual sporting with cross country. He always encouraged the other golfers to do their best and even allowed his younger brother to beat him…just once
Junior High 7th Grade Volleyball MVP: Alexis Baker is my team’s MVP because she consistently delivered outstanding performance, led the team by example, and made crucial plays when it mattered most.
Her dedication, skill, and sportsmanship elevated the entire team’s game. Plus, she inspired both teammates and fans with her hard work and passion for the sport.
Junior High 8th Grade Volleyball MVP: Maycee Walker is a player who didn’t just want to improve herself as a player she had the drive to push the ability to raise the play of each one of her teammates to play with improvement.
Maycee is a positive leader and utilizes her skills to improve and better her team. She continuously would uplift her teammates with positive encouragement to earn success daily on the court.
Maycee is very dependable and would always put in all her effort never giving up on herself or teammates, she was willing to make any adjustments at any time in order to get her job done as a teammate, role model, and as an individual player.
Maycee is a go getter and showed her passion for volleyball with all of her dedication and determination to always push for success in herself as well as her teammates.
High School Cross Country MVP: Carter Eckley – Carter is a junior and standout competitor for the boys cross country team. Overcoming an early-season injury, Carter worked tirelessly to return to top form, ultimately competing in 11 races this season.
In these 11 races he earned 2 individual wins, 4 top-10 finishes, 4 top-20 finishes and maintained top 5 status at the Tiffin Cross Country Carnival with a 5th place finish in a race of 304 runners.
Carter finished in the top 20% in 9 out of 11 races, in the top 10% in 5 races, and in the top 5% in 3 races. In addition to his two victories, Carter earned individual medal awards at the Defiance Early Bird Invitational, Tiffin Cross Country Carnival, Fayette Eagle Invitational, Liberty Center Cross Country Extravaganza, Edgerton Invitational, and Hudson XC Invitational. Carter also achieved 1st Team BBC honors, reflecting his high level of performance.
Despite an early setback, Carter logged a total of 297.16 miles since the season’s official start on August 1st, and when combined with his summer training, he covered 434.78 miles over 138 days.

To further his training and dedication to the sport of cross country, he attended both the Myers Running Camp in Hocking Hills and Tiffin University Cross Country Camp during the off season.
Varsity Football MVP: Anton Hegler: Offensive Stats- 27 Receptions, 301 Yards with 4 touchdowns. Defensive Stats- 43 Tackles, 4 Sacks, 7 TFL, 2 Passes Batted Down, 2 Forced Fumbles and 2 Fumble Recoveries.
HS Football Cheer MVP: Emily Sprow – Emily was consistently at practices and took on a leadership role from the beginning of the season.
She was willing to help others and stepped up many times to make up cheers on her own time. Though she was injured at the end of the season, she was still at the practices and games leading where she could.
Varsity Golf MVP: Kade Stewart he had the lowest average score out of everyone, and was able to hold the team together not letting how he was playing affect his game too much.
HS Volleyball MVP: Cailyn Meyers is one of the team captains and showed leadership on and off the court. Cailyn played a vital role as a setter and opposite attacker on the team.

Cailyn continued to grow in her leadership and volleyball role this season, being a strong asset for the team. Cailyn was very aggressive offensively, often getting kills not only in her hitting role but also in her setter role.
Cailyn had a record high 19 kills against a tough Cardinal Stritch, while totaling 207 kills for the season. Respectfully, Cailyn also totaled 248 digs which was the second highest tallied for the team.
Cailyn added 221 assists and 32 aces for the season as well. Cailyn was voted 2nd team BBC honors and 2nd Team District 7 honors.
Female Junior High Athlete of the Season Nominees: Gia Fiser (7th Grade Volleyball) and Autumn Litchfield (8th Grade Volleyball).
WINNER: GIA FISER – Gia is my Athlete of the Season because she consistently demonstrated exceptional skills, persevered, and showed high quality levels of sportsmanship.
She not only excels in her performance but also uplifts her teammates, showing leadership both on and off the court.

Her dedication to training and improvement, along with her ability to inspire others, makes her truly deserving of this recognition.

WINNER: MADDIE ZIMMERMAN – Maddie was our senior leader this year and one of our team captains. Maddie was the libero for the team, dominating her position while also achieving many honors.
Maddie had a goal for her senior year to hit her 1,000 career digs; not only did she achieve her digs but also broke two school records in the process.
Maddie broke the school “career dig” record with a total of 1049 for her career but also broke the “season dig” record with a total of 480 digs. Maddie had 555 serve receptions this season with only 57 errors allowing her to have an 89.7% serve receive reception.
Maddie knew her role, played her role well, and could be relied on without question in the back row; always giving the hustle and heart the team needed. Maddie earned honorable mention BBC Honors and 2nd Team district 7 honors.
