North Central Sweeps Double Header On The Road At Swanton Blasting The Lady Bulldogs

SWANTON – The North Central Lady Eagles traveled to Swanton on April 12 for a Saturday double header with the NWOAL’s Bulldogs, sweeping the day 11-0 and 16-4 to move to 4-6 on the season.

Game #1

In game 1, Makayla Hayes threw the shut out, pitching a brilliant game and allowing just 2 hits on the game.

Hayes also had the hot hand at the plate, connecting for 3 singles and driving in 4 runs. Alyssa Swank also had 2 singles; Macayla Wildrick chipped in 2 singles with an RBI, while Rachael Shipman connected for a single in the win.

Game #2

Jazmine Becker earned the win in game 2, going the full distance and allowing 4 hits and 4 runs. Becker also had a powerful day at the plate, driving in 3 runs in the game off of a double.

Also for the Lady Eagles at the plate, it was a team explosion with 9 different Lady Eagles connecting for hits. Abbey Litzenberg drove in 2 runs off of a single and Rachael Oxender was credited with an RBI off of a single. Alex Richmond had 2 singles; Allyson Hutchison reached base on a single, while Sabrina Pickford had 2 in the win. Macayla Wildrick also had a double, while Alyssa Swank contributed 2 singles.
