The Village of Holiday City’s Council held a special meeting on Sunday August 1st at 7PM. The meeting was called to order followed by the Pledge of Allegiance and roll call.
Council first moved to hear the reading of ordinances. Ordinance 2021-6 regarding the creation of a village fiscal officer position was heard first. A motion was made which was approved.
Council then moved to Ordinance 2021-7 for the appointment of Lauri Rupp to the position of village fiscal officer. A motion was made and was also approved.
Council then moved to hear Resolution R-2021-14. The emergency resolution was needed to accept the material terms of the One Ohio Subdivision Settlement pursuant to the One Ohio Memorandum of understanding and consistent with the terms of the July 21, 2021, National Opioid Settlement Agreement. A motion was made to approve and passed.
Following after, council moved to hear any other business from members before moving to adjourn.
