PIONEER – Madison Brown had 18 and Kendal Bonney chipped in with 11 in North Central’s (6-5, 1-0 BBC) 43-33 win to start BBC play.
Stryker (5-3, 0-1 BBC), who now has dropped three games in a row, was led in scoring by Sage Woolace with 11.

Montpelier 49 Fayette 20
FAYETTE – Montpelier outscored Fayette 18-3 in the second quarter to take a 28-10 halftime lead on their way to the 49-20 victory.
Chelsea McCord led the Montpelier (7-0, 1-0 BBC) scoring with 13 points and Jada Uribes had 12. Demi Storrs drilled three shots from behind the arc to top Fayette (0-6, 0-1 BBC) with nine points.

Holgate 33 Edon 23
EDON – Holgate (4-4, 1-0 BBC) got six buckets and two free throws from Justine Eis to give her 14 points on the night as Holgate won in their BBC debut.
Kerrin Towers had three field goals for six points to lead Edon (0-9, 0-1 BBC).
Hilltop 55 Pettisville 23
PETTISVILLE – Hilltop (4-5, 1-0 BBC) took a 14-5 lead after the first quarter and 35-12 at halftime as they cruised to a 55-32 win at Pettisville.
Three Cadets were in double digits led by Leanna Baker with 13, Libbie Baker had 11, and Jayma Bailey added 10. Ellie Grieser and Leah Beck had six points each for the Blackbirds (1-8, 0-1 BBC).

Bryan 51 Swanton 11
BRYAN – Bryan controlled their NWOAL opener from the start by jumping to a 30-2 lead at the half. Eleven different Lady Bears (7-1, 1-0 NWOAL) found the scoring column for Bryan topped by five field goals and a free throw from Kailee Thiel for 11 points. Katie Floyd had five points for Swanton (5-3, 0-1 NWOAL).

Liberty Center 47 Evergreen 40
METAMORA – Peyton Armey had three triples and scored a game-high 15 points for Liberty Center (5-3, 1-0 NWOAL) as they slid past Evergreen 47-40.
Bekah Bowser had 14 to pace Evergreen (4-3, 0-1 NWOAL) and Macy Chamberlin added 12.

Delta 46 Patrick Henry 36
HAMLER – After surrendering a double-digit lead early, Delta used a 26-15 second half to pull out the 46-36 road win. Alani Haas and Khloe Weber paced the Delta (3-6, 1-0 NWOAL) attack with 11 points apiece.
Wauseon 65 Archbold 50
WAUSEON – The Indians forced 17 Archbold turnovers and owned a 32-19 advantage on the boards in a 65-50 win to start NWOAL play.
Marisa Seiler turned in a double-double for Wauseon with 10 field goals and was 9/12 at the charity stripe to total 29 points to go along with 15 rebounds.
Autumn Pelok and Kadence Carroll also were in double digits for Wauseon with 13 and 10 points respectively. Leah McQuade, Harley Phillips, and Addi Ziegler topped Archbold (4-5, 0-1 NWOAL) with 11 points each.

ANTWERP – Jagger Landers had 17 points to lead three Archers (6-0, 1-0 GMC) in double figures as they won convincingly in the GMC opener for both teams. Nathan Swank had five points to front Edgerton (1-4, 0-1 GMC).

DESHLER – The Patriots had four bowlers roll a series of 300 or better as they edged the visitors from Delta. Delta’s Ciarra Flickinger had the high game for all bowlers with a 201 in game one and ended the night with a 369 series.
Evergreen 1,733 Wauseon 1,608
ADRIAN – Keigan Schuster topped the Vikings with a high game of 192 and rolled a 344 series in a win over Wauseon. Danielle Carr rolled the high series for Wauseon with a 291 (134, 157) and Jayde Ramos fired a 274 (127, 147).

Patrick Henry 2,238 Delta 2,077
DESHLER – Tyler Piercefield posted a series of 416 to pace Patrick Henry past Delta 2,238-2,077. Gabe Syverson had the high game and series for the Panthers with a 213 in his first game of match play and a 405 series.
Evergreen 1,996 Wauseon 1,797
ADRIAN – Evergreen earned their first win of the season led by a 371 (170, 201) from Derek Cobb in a 1,966-1,797 victory. Joshua Freestone put together games of 168 and 138 for a 306 series to top the Indians.
