Patricia Marie Summers, age 70, of Delta, passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side.
Patricia was born December 11, 1946 to the late Albert and Margaret (Seymour) Kenninger.
She was a 1965 graduate of Start High School. Patricia married Larry S. Summers on June 25, 1965 in Monroe, MI and he survives. They enjoyed 51 years together.
She worked as a laundry aide for Swanton Valley Nursing Home and was a member of Faith Baptist Church is Wauseon. Patricia enjoyed planting flowers and spending time with her children and grandchildren, especially supporting them in their sporting events.
Left to cherish her memory are her three children, Lawrence Summers, of Plainsville, IN, Robert Summers, of Delta, and Susan (Robert) Elendt, of Swanton; eight grandchildren, Shawn, Hannah, Isabella and Isaac Summers and Joshua, Samuel, Darian and Breanna Elendt; one brother, Paul Kenninger and one sister, Mary (Leonard) Donovan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, John Kenninger.
Friends will be received from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy.109 in Delta. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Faith Baptist Church, 15878 Co Rd F, Wauseon, Ohio 43567. Pastor Randy Titus will be officiating. Interment will follow at Raker Cemetery near Delta. In lieu of flowers, contributions are encouraged to be made to the family, care of Larry Summers.
