Paul W. Rush, III, age 61, of Pioneer, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2021, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Maumee. He was a truck driver for Upstaging, Inc. for the last 10 years. Paul was a US Army veteran, having served from 1978-1984.
Paul was a talented musician who enjoyed playing drums and guitar and also enjoyed time fishing. He was a member of the American Legion.
Born on February 20, 1960, in Rockford, Illinois, he was the son of Paul W. and Shelby (Weatherford) Rush, Jr. He married Joni R. Johnson on June 29, 1991 in Cambria, Michigan and she survives.
In addition to his wife, Paul is survived by his sons, Micheal (Kassidy) Rush, of Waterloo, Indiana and Kevin (Kelci) Rush, of Pioneer; two grandchildren; three sisters and two brothers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Rush, Jr. and Shelby (Warren) Hulbert, and a brother.
In accordance with Paul’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services at this time. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Services have been entrusted to Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan.
