Pettisville High School Celebrates Winter Homecoming

Pettisville High School held their Homecoming Ceremony on Saturday, January 27th. The ceremony began around 5:10 p.m. in the Pettisville High School Gymnasium. Members of this year’s Homecoming Court were as follows.

This year’s freshman attendant was Ashalyn Rice. Ashalyn is the daughter of Valerie and Nick, and sister to Kynzie, Myleigh and Quintyn. She is involved in basketball, cross country, volleyball, track, FCA, FFA, FCCLA, and North Clinton youth group.

Ashalyn was escorted by Jacob Wonderly. Jake is the son of Amy and Jared, and brother to Lizzie, Eli, and Cyrus. He is involved in Noteworthy, soccer, basketball, track, FCA, and Crossroad’s youth group.

This year’s sophomore attendant was Kathryn Moore. Katie is the daughter of Rhonda and Dave Moore. She is involved in youth group, cheerleading, band, FCA, 4-H, and YAC.

Katie was escorted by Kyle Galvin. Kyle is the son of Melanie and Jeremy Galvin, and brother of Alex and Genevieve. He is involved in FFA, band, cross country, track, FCA, and Pettisville schools.

This year’s junior attendant was Miley Harris. Miley is the daughter of Isaac and Leslie Weber, and she is the sister of Morgan, Molly, and Jace. She is involved in club and school volleyball.

Miley was escorted by Wyatt Borer. Wyatt is the son of Adam and Mindy Borer. He is involved in soccer and track.

This year’s senior attendant was Jada Brinkman. Jada is the daughter of Nathan and Melissa Brinkman, and sister to Raven Brehm. She is involved in cheerleading, FCCLA, Spanish club, NHS, art club, student council, and is a supervisor at Dairy Queen.

After high school, she plans on attending Northwest State Community College before transferring to BGSU to major in art education.

Jada was escorted by Jonathan Fenton. Johnny is the son of Bill and Irene Fenton, and brother to David Reyes and William Fenton.

He is involved in basketball and FFA. After graduation, he plans on attending Northwest State Community College majoring in accounting.

This year’s Homecoming Princess and Prince were Jocelyn Wells and Wayne Shrock. Jojo is the daughter of Curtis and Jenna Wells, and the sister of Addie and Cara. She enjoys science, volleyball, coloring, and jumping on the trampoline. When she grows up, she wants to be a teacher.

Wayne is the son of Michael and Barbara Schrock and brother of Dallas. His favorite subject in school is gym class. He enjoys basketball, soccer, hunting, and riding in the combine.

After introducing the 2024 Homecoming Court, the King and Queen were then announced. This year’s Homecoming King and Queen were Joseph Ripke and Hollyn Klopfenstein.

Joey is the son of Ryan and Sarah Ripke, and brother to Quinn, Maggie, and Grace Ripke. He is involved in basketball, soccer, PMC youth group, FCA, and FCCLA. After high school, Joey plans on attending Huntington University.

Hollyn is the daughter of Tim and Steph Klopfenstein and Ryeana and Kole Klopfenstein. Hollyn is involved in basketball, volleyball, FCA, FCCLA, Noteworthy, and PMC youth group. Her plans after high school are to attend the Summit Salon Academy.
