A Maumee, Ohio woman was sentenced on October 28, 2015, in the Fulton County Common Pleas Court. Amber L. Phillips, 24, pled guilty to Tampering With Records, a felony of the fifth degree. According to Fulton County Prosecutor Scott A. Haselman, on or about September 3, 2013 to June 15, 2014, Ms. Phillips tampered with records. Judge James E. Barber sentenced Ms. Phillips to four years of community control. The Court ordered that Ms. Phillips pay restitution in the amount of $14,704.17 to the victim of the offense, payable through the Fulton County Clerk of Courts; and that she maintain gainful employment. Failure to abide by these conditions could result in Ms. Phillips serving six months in prison.
