On Sunday, September 20, 2015 at 8:38 PM, Nolan C. Krull, Age 21, 1049 CR 4, Hudson, IN, was arrested on a felony warrant out of the Williams Court of Common Pleas for a Probation Violation. The original charge was Aggravated Possession of Drugs. He was turned over to the Williams County Sheriff’s Department and taken to CCNO.

A Morenci, Michigan man was sentenced on September 18, 2015 in the Fulton County Common Pleas Court according to county prosecutor Scott A. Haselman. Brad Pike, 39, previously pled no contest and was found guilty of Failure to Stop After an Accident. On June 15, 2013, he failed to stop after a collision. Judge James E. Barber sentenced Mr. Pike to 2 years of community control and ordered him to pay restitution of $1,454.84, have no contact with the victims, stay out of bars/taverns, not possess or consume alcohol, abide by an 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM curfew, serve 30 days in CCNO with work release, attend a minimum of one AA meeting per week, be assessed for alcohol treatment and successfully complete all treatment recommendations, and suspension of driver’s license for two years, with privileges for work, meetings with probation officer, and treatment. Failure to comply could result in Mr. Pike spending 8 months in prison.
FULTON COUNTY GRAND JURY
On September 21, 2015, the Fulton County Grand Jury considered indictments charging individuals with Fulton County crimes, according to Fulton County Prosecuting Attorney Scott A. Haselman.
Jerod R. Yedica, age 25, of Archbold, OH, was indicted on two counts of Assault, two counts of Domestic Violence, one count of Possession of a Dangerous Drug, and one county of Criminal Damaging or Endangering. On or about September 7, 2015, he allegedly caused or attempted to cause physical harm to two police officers in the performance of their official duties. He also allegedly caused or attempted to cause physical harm to two family or household members, and allegedly possessed Wellbutrin, a dangerous drug.
Bryan J. Hayes, age 35, of Toledo, OH, was indicted on one count of Felonious Assault. On or about September 7, 2015, he allegedly caused or attempted to cause physical harm to another with a deadly weapon.
Nicole R. Cooper, age 34, of Napoleon, OH, was indicted on one count of Theft of Drugs and one count of Theft. On or about August 18, 2014 to August 19, 2015, she allegedly stole prescription drugs and cash.
Michael E. Leahy, age 38, of Metamora, OH, was indicted on two counts of Receiving Stolen Property. On or about August 13, 2015, he allegedly received a motor vehicle and a motor vehicle identification license plate, knowing or having reasonable cause to believe both had been stolen.
Douglas R. Johnson, age 53, of Swanton, OH, was indicted on one county of Illegal Cultivation of Marihuana. On or about July 31, 2015, he allegedly cultivated marihuana.
Stephanie L. Johnson, age 39, of Swanton, OH, was indicted on one count of Illegal Cultivation of Marihuana. On or about July 31, 2015, she allegedly cultivated marihuana and allegedly possessed Psilocyn.
Michael A. Miller, age 19, of Metamora, OH, was indicted on one count of Rape. On or about September 19, 2015, he allegedly engaged in sexual conduct with another and allegedly compelled the other person to submit by force or threat of force.
It should be noted that an indictment is merely an accusation and that all criminal defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
FULTON COUNTY SHERIFF
Sheriff Roy E. Miller announces that the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office has been awarded to two traffic enforcement grants titled “Impaired Driving Enforcement Program” for $18,816.49 and “Selective Traffic Enforcement Program” for $14,062.22 for a total of $32,878.71. These grants were awarded through the Ohio Department of Public Safety and will take effect on October 1, 2015 and run through September 30, 2016. The awarded grants will provide funds to pay for extra patrol during different times and dates for traffic law enforcement. During these times of extra patrol, deputies will be focusing on violations such as speeding, seatbelts, distracted drivers, and impaired drivers to reduce the number of traffic related crashes and deaths in Fulton County. The dates, times, and locations of the extra patrol will be announced prior to them taking effect.
