Richmond Machine Takes Title At Montpelier Chamber Golf Outing

CHAMBER GOLF OUTING … The Montpelier Area Chamber of Commerce held its annual golf outing on Friday, Aug. 7 at Suburban Golf Course in Bryan. There were 21 teams taking part in the 18-hole event, which also featured food and prizes. Richmond Machine claimed first place as it won via a scorecard playoff with a score of 47. The winning team was comprised of Corey Richmond, Lee Richmond, Randy Dominique and Lonnie Sumner. Pictured is the Eric Smeltzer team, who finished runner-up, with team members from left Nick Rodriguez, Eric Smeltzer and Kenneth Smeltzer. Missing from the photo was T.J. Smith. Also not pictured was David Freed, who won the men’s closest-to-the-pin award.
