Roger A. Stilwill (1956-2014)

Stilwill Roger - pictureRoger A. Stilwill, age 57 of Liberty Center, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2014 with his family by his side at St. Luke’s Hospital in Maumee. He was born in Napoleon on July 31, 1956 one of four children to the late Wayne Stilwill and Deloris (Christy) Stilwill who survives. He was a graduate of Liberty Center High School. Before retiring due to health, Roger worked for the Campbell Soup Co. in Napoleon. He enjoyed golfing and being active with his friends at Shiloh Christian Union where he was a member. In addition to his father, Roger was preceded in death by his brother; Eugene Stilwill. Surviving is his mother, Deloris; children, Bryce Stilwill of Wooster, Brittany Stilwill of Pettisville, Dominic Stilwill of Defiance and Dustin Stilwill of Liberty Center; brother, Larry (Carolyn) Stilwill of Liberty Center and Phyllis Bleschke of Liberty Center and two grandchildren, Dominic Jr. and Damien. Friends will be received from 10:00 – 12:00 PM on Monday, February 24, 2014 at Shiloh Christian Union Church, 2100 Co Rd 5 in Delta; where a funeral service celebrating Roger’s life will begin at 12:00 Noon on Monday in the sanctuary. Pastor Chuck Whitmire and Jerry Searle will be officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy. 109, Delta. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Roger Stilwill may be directed to Shiloh Christian Union Church to help with Roger’s medical and final expenses.
