Scott BaldwinScott Baldwin, 65, of Wauseon passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, May 2, 2016 at Toledo Hospital. Prior to his retirement he had worked for the former Seco Manufacturing in Wauseon and also at the Figy Poultry Farm near Wauseon.

Scott was born on March 14, 1951 in Wauseon to Earl and Doris (Neuenschwander) Baldwin.  He attended Chesterfield School and graduated from Wauseon High School in 1969 where he was a star baseball pitcher.  On October 6, 1967 he married Liana Barnes, who survives.  Scott was a life member of the Fulton County Sportsman’s Club and enjoyed hunting, fishing, raising pheasants and quail, anything outdoors, woodworking and spending time with his grandchildren.

Scott is survived by his wife, Liana; daughters Amy (Robert) Foster of Defiance and Lisa (Jason) Bratton of Wauseon; grandchildren Joel and Jack Foster and Katelyn Bratton; and brother, Gerry Baldwin, of Wauseon.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Doris Baldwin; and grandparents Frank and Daisy Baldwin and Jack and Ruby Neuenschwander.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 5, 2016 from 2:00-8:00 pm at Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home, 219 South Fulton Street, Wauseon.  Services will be Friday, May 6 at 10:30 am at the funeral home with Pastor Ron Montieth officiating. Interment will follow at Wauseon Union Cemetery following the service.
