SHERIFF … Williams County Sheriff Deputy Tyler Maynard has worked hard to make sure this year’s second annual Park with police event is a hit.

By: Lindsay Phillips

The second annual Park with Police event will take place July 16 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Imagination Station Park off Horton Trail in Bryan.

Each Law Enforcement agency from Williams County will be there ready to positively interact with the children of the communities. Kids will get the opportunity to learn about safety, their local police departments and their k-9 units. Over ten departments will be present.

A raffle with prizes will be had, and games challenging police officers.

Those interested are welcome to make a free will donation for food and drinks. All proceeds will go to the K-9 units around Williams County.

Williams County Sherriff’s Deputy, Tyler Maynard, has worked tirelessly putting this event together with the Sherriff’s Office.

Regarding the event, Maynard shared, “The Park with Police event is to reach out to the community and children, we together can build trust with policemen and the community through events like these.”

All are more than welcome to come out and enjoy a fun day with local law enforcement.
