Trans-Siberian Orchestra tribute band, Siberian Solstice, recently performed in Wauseon. The group took stage at St. Caspar’s Catholic Church on Sunday, December 8th at 7:00 p.m.

This free concert was available to everyone in the community, and people most definitely took advantage of that offer. The parking lot was completely full as the event time neared, and more than 400 seats were filled.

The group has been in the area before, performing at the Fayette Opera House in 2023. This year marks the groups 17th season of creating fantastic music.

The performance features a blend of traditional Christmas music, as well as some classical pieces, with each song being enhanced by electric keyboards, drums, and guitars.

According to St. Caspar’s Parishioner Vicki Smith, her and her husband Leon Smith have made seeing the group their Christmas tradition. The pair were also instrumental in bringing the group to St. Caspar’s Church.

After speaking with their Pastor, the church was more than happy to host the event for all those in town.

As stated previously, the event was free but, a free-will donation was accepted if people wanted to donate. Additionally, non-perishable items were accepted during the event to add into the church’s food pantry.
