(September 22nd, 2014)-WAUSEON: Playing host to Stryker, the Lady Indians of Wauseon were ready to defend their home court. And defend they did, taking down a talented Lady Panthers team in straight sets.
Wauseon stepped out in front from the beginning of the match, taking game 1 25-12. The second set was more of the same, as Stryker dropped the set 11-25. Rallying for the third game, the Panthers still fell short, and Wauseon claimed victory 25-14.
Sydney Bosell nailed 12 kills, 3 blocks, and an ace for the Lady Indians. Teammate Kierra Fountain had 8 digs, 7 aces, and 6 kills. Hayley Chamberlain contributed an impressive 16 assists, 2 blocks, and an ace to the Wauseon victory.
For Stryker, Brittany Breier had 5 kills. Teammate Allie Frisbe served up 5 assists and an ace. Katie Yoder was a perfect 8 for 8 serving the ball in the losing effort.
