95% of the seniors in the Veterinarian Assistant career and technical program at Four County Career Center passed the Small Animal Science National Standardized test. This is a hands-on skills assessment and certification which is recognized nationally in the area of small animal science. Shown in the Veterinarian Assistant lab during the testing are (LEFT TO RIGHT) Annetta Waldron (Defiance); and McKinzie Leu (Stryker); with Registered Veterinary Technician Callie Rettig from Fountain City Veterinary Hospital in Bryan.
