Stryker High School held its 2026 Homecoming Ceremony on Friday, January 23, beginning at 5:30 p.m. prior to the evening’s basketball games.
The ceremony opened with a welcome to those in attendance and an introduction to this year’s theme, “Tangled,” with colors of pink, purple, white, and gold.
The song “I See the Light” from the movie Tangled was selected by the King and Queen for the evening.
Freshman attendants McKenzie Clemens and Logan Emmons were introduced first. McKenzie Clemens is the daughter of Emily and Josh Clemens and has an older sister, Aubrey. She is involved in volleyball, basketball, track, FCA, and student council.
Her hobbies include reading, sports, spending time with friends, and listening to music. McKenzie said her favorite food is sushi, and her ideal Saturday night would be hanging out with friends or spending time with her family.
She would like to travel to Israel to visit historical sites and plans to attend college to play volleyball.
McKenzie was escorted by Logan Emmons, the son of Adrienne and Mike Cargle. He has two older siblings, Ellie and Maddy, and one younger sibling, Aspen. Logan is involved in basketball, baseball, track, and FCA.
He enjoys working on cars, playing video games, and riding dirt bikes. His favorite food is chicken hibachi from Ninja. Logan said his ideal Saturday night would be spending time with friends, playing basketball, or watching a movie.
His favorite movie is any Avengers film. He plans to learn a trade and eventually own his own company.
The sophomore class selected Abby Fulk and Xavior Meyer as their attendants. Abby Fulk is the daughter of Coleen and Shaun Fulk. She has three older siblings, Haylee, Emma, and Addalee, and one younger sister, Lily.
Abby is involved in student council, volleyball, and softball. Her hobbies include reading, drawing, and going on walks with her mom.
Her favorite food is chicken alfredo or anything her mom makes. Abby said her ideal Saturday night would be reading or spending time with her family.
Her future plans include attending college for cosmetology or culinary school. She is also considering the Navy or Army and hopes to get married, buy a dog, and have children.
Abby was escorted by Xavior Meyer, the son of Amee and Brooks Meyer. He has one older sister, Abbie. Xavior enjoys traveling, playing video games, and competing in the Pokémon trading card game.
His favorite food is chicken, and his favorite movie is Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 3. He said his dream vacation would be going to the beach with his family.
His future plans include attending Four County for computer science, going to college, getting married, and starting a family.
The junior class was represented by Aubrey Clemens and Jacob Ramon. Aubrey Clemens is the daughter of Emily and Josh Clemens.
She is involved in volleyball, basketball, track, FCA, and student council. Aubrey enjoys playing sports, spending time with friends, tanning, and being outdoors.
She said her ideal Saturday night would be hanging out with her friends. Her favorite TV show is The Summer I Turned Pretty. Aubrey said she would like to travel to Hawaii.
Her plans after high school include playing college volleyball, becoming a teacher, and seeing where life takes her.
Aubrey was escorted by Jacob Ramon, the son of Brandy Haynes and Joseph Ramon.
He has four older siblings, Tristan Sampson, Jenna Ramon, Joseph Ramon, and Gabby Ramon, along with one younger brother, Jayce Ramon. Jacob is involved in football, basketball, and track.
His hobbies include video games, sports, and spending time with friends. His favorite movie is Happy Gilmore. Jacob said his future plans include attending college, getting a high-paying job, and making money.
The senior class selected Reagan Myers and Bradley Williams as their senior attendants. Reagan Myers is the daughter of Renee and Jared Myers. She has two older sisters, Madi and Kaitlyn, and one younger brother, Xander.
Reagan is involved in volleyball, softball, Spanish Club, art club, and student council. She enjoys shopping, spending time with friends, and watching movies.
Her favorite food is birria tacos. Reagan said her ideal Saturday night would be getting Chipotle and going to the movies with friends. Her favorite movie is White Chicks. Her future plans include attending Summit Salon Academy, becoming an esthetician, getting married, and traveling.
Reagan was escorted by Bradley Williams, the son of Ana Williams, Kenny and Haley Williams. He has two older siblings, Kenny and Anthony, and two younger siblings, Jaxson and Lexie.
Bradley is involved in baseball, basketball, track, and golf. He enjoys riding his e-bike and playing sports. His favorite food is steak.
He said his dream vacation would be to Jamaica. Bradley plans to attend Northwest State Community College for business and use his carpentry trade following high school.
The ceremony also included representation from younger students. The class of 2038 was represented by Leah Ruffer and Blaine Heath.
Leah Ruffer is the daughter of Sarah and Blake Ruffer. She has two younger sisters, Vivian and Brooklyn. Leah enjoys playing with her sisters, playing with Barbies, going hunting with her dad, and swimming.
Her favorite movie is The Land Before Time, and her favorite food is bacon. Leah said she would like to become a teacher when she grows up.
Blaine Heath served as crown bearer. He is the son of Taylor and Cole Heath and has three siblings, Harper, Sawyer, and Blair. Blaine enjoys riding his four-wheeler, fishing, and playing soccer and baseball.
His favorite movies are Sonic and Spiderman. His favorite foods include chicken on the bone and peanut butter sandwiches with pickles. Blaine said he would like to become a dirt bike rider when he grows up.
The ceremony concluded with the announcement of the 2025–26 Homecoming Queen and King. Kayla Fultz was named Homecoming Queen. She is the daughter of Misty and Chris Fultz and has one older brother, Christian.
Kayla is involved in FFA, student council, and softball. Her hobbies include riding dirt bikes and four-wheelers, spending time with friends, working, and shopping.
Her favorite food is chicken and rice. Kayla said she would like to travel to Italy. Her future plans include attending college, becoming an EMT, getting married, and starting a family.
Will Donovan was named Homecoming King. He is the son of Abby and Mike Donovan. Will has two older brothers, Michael and Daniel, and two younger sisters, Anna and Ellie.
He is involved in golf, cross country, basketball, baseball, track, FFA, FCA, and NHS. His hobbies include golfing and watching sports.
His favorite food is cheeseburgers, and his favorite TV show is The Office. Will said he would like to travel to Colorado to ski.
His future plans include attending Northwest State Community College, transferring to BGSU, and becoming a high school history teacher.
The ceremony concluded with acknowledgments to school staff, parents, student council members, and volunteers who assisted with the preparation and execution of the event.
