Timothy J. Mielke

Timothy J. “Tiny” Mielke, age 66, of Wauseon passed away unexpectedly Wednesday November 18, 2015. Prior to his retirement he had been a Security Supervisor for Sun Oil.

Mr. Mielke was born in Toledo on October 23, 1949 the son of the late LeRoy and Florence (Wypyhoski) Mielke. On January 11, 1974 he married Judy Barney and she survives. He was an active member of the St. Caspar Catholic Church in Wauseon where he was active with the Knights of Columbus having served as a past Grand Knight. Mr. Mielke was a member of the former “Brothers” Motorcycle Club in Toledo and was awarded the Hero Award by the City of Toledo.

Surviving besides his wife, Judy are his children; Criss (Sheila) Mielke of Delta, Jennifer (Tim) Schoonover of Delta, three grandchildren; Rebecca, Taylor and Emily great-grand-daughters Haleyann and Natalie. Also surviving is sister Karen Mielke of Wauseon, brothers Peter (Becky) Mielke of Hillsdale and Kevin (Cathy) Mielke of Wauseon and Mother-in-law Mary T. Barney. Preceding him in death besides his parents was son Abraham Mielke, sister Sherry Hurst and Father-in-law Robert Barney.

Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:00am Wednesday November 25, 2015 at St. Caspar Church with Father David Bruning officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Caspar Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the St. Caspar Catholic Church on Tuesday November 24 from 2:00-8:00pm. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.GrisierFH.com. The family requests the memorial contributions be made to St Caspar Knights of Columbus Christmas Cheer program.
