Stryker Schools bridged several generations with a special Veterans Day event.
Students were encouraged to invite their relatives who are either on active duty or had served previously to eat lunch and then attend a multimedia tribute.
The 1957 auditorium was filled with students and veterans as they viewed a slideshow of veterans from their time of service and captions showing the relationships with the students.
There were three shows, one for grades 4-6, K-3 and 7-12.
The slideshow featured music from Lee Greenwoods’ time-honored classic “God Bless the USA” to Bruce Springsteen’s “Born in the USA.”
