(September 9th, 2014)-DEFIANCE: A tri-match at Auglaize between Wauseon, Holgate, and Archbold came down to the wire on Tuesday. The Indians were barely able to hold Archbold at bay, defeating the Blue Streaks by less than 10 strokes.
Wauseon won the match, shooting a 153 as a unit. Archbold pushed the Indians hard, but fell short with a 162. Holgate finished third in the match, putting up a 171.
Trevor Dominique gave Wauseon a boost with his score of 34. Fellow Indian Brady Rupp fired a 36. David Williams shot a 39, and Tyler Clausen a 44 to complete the Wauseon score.
Archbold’s Ian Radabaugh and Brandon Miller were the only other competitors to shoot under 40 on the day, with a 35 and 39 respectively. For Holgate, Jake Grim and Everett Klingshire each shot a 40.
