Wauseon’s Joy Center Hosting 5K For Domestic Violence

WAUSEON OHIO – Announcing the First Annual Joy Center 5K for Domestic Violence. The 5K will take place October 17th, 2015 at the Fulton County Fair Grounds located at 8514 OH-108, Wauseon Ohio 43567. This 5K is being organized by The Joy Center for Women’s Ministry, the Joy Center is located at 410 N. Shoop Ave., Wauseon, Ohio, 43567.

The Joy Center for Women’s Ministry offers support for women who are going through domestic violence as well as other situations; all support is by trained volunteer women who have gone through similar problems. We decided to organize a 5K to help gain an awareness of domestic violence in Northwest Ohio and Fulton County.
All proceeds will go to the Joy Center for Women’s Ministry in their outreach to the area.

The 5K will begin at 9AM rain or shine, on-site registration will be accepted starting at 8AM. Pre-registration will be available from today until October 10th and is $20.00; to register online visitwww.runsignup.com or send by mail to The Joy Center for Women’s Ministry P.O. Box 238 Wauseon Ohio 43567, a registration form can be found online to print for mailing at www.thejoycenterohio.com/domestic-violence-5k if mailing registration please be sure to send by October 7th to be sure of delivery on time.

On-site registration will be $25.00. Registration pre or on-site includes event shirt and registration for 5K. Dave’s Running Shop has given the Joy Center a guiding hand throughout the organization process.
