Al Roker - TK 076 WEBAs part of his ‘Rokerthon 2’ campaign, NBC meteorologist Al Roker made a stop in Montpelier on the evening of November 9. Rokerthon 2 is a marathon event in which Mr. Roker was attempting to either broadcast or record a weather forecast in all fifty states in just one week. Prior to arriving in Montpelier, Mr. Roker had given weather forecasts in Missouri, Arkansas, Illinois, Tennessee, and Kentucky, prior to stops in Goshen, Indiana, and Coldwater, Michigan. He greeted the crowd upon arrival at the east side of Montpelier Village Hall, where he gave the weather forecast using a tablet computer. Afterwards, he recorded several promos for the Today show, as well as promos for the camera crews of NBC affiliates WKCY of Cleveland, and WNWO of Toledo, and was then back on the bus and eastbound.
