GIRLS BOWLING

Bryan 2,107 Wauseon 1,825

BRYAN – Faith Harding tallied a 493 series with games of 266 and 227 to lift Bryan (5-3, 4-3 NWOAL) to the win over Wauseon 2,107-1,825. Bryan’s Haylie Federspiel posted games of 152 and 224 for a 376 total. Danielle topped the Wauseon (2-4, 1-4 NWOAL) effort by rolling games of 212 and 182 for a 394 series.

BOYS BOWLING

Bryan 2,301 Wauseon 1,993

BRYAN – Matt Meade posted the high game (234) and high series (416) for Bryan (8-1, 7-1 NWOAL) as they took down Wauseon (1-8, 1-6 NWOAL) 2,301-1,993. Dakota Brandeberry was next for the Golden Bears with a 391 (190, 201) and Caleb Muhe added a 389 (201, 188). Riley Morr totaled a 369 (193, 176) for the Indians high series and Parker Black rolled a 343 (181, 162).

Delta 2,383 Swanton 2,270

SWANTON – Gabe Syverson and Brody Waugh each fired a 218 and Kaden Hawkins added a 215 game to as Delta (3-7, 2-7 NWOAL) edged their Fulton County rivals. Marty Mosher had a hot start for the Bulldogs (5-4, 4-4 NWOAL) with a 265 in game one and followed that with a 194 in game two for the Swanton high series (459) of the night.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Evergreen 44 Patrick Henry 34

HAMLER – Evan Lumbrezer had 12 field goals and a triple for 27 points to pace Evergreen (6-7, 2-1 NWOAL) in a 44-34 win over the Patriots (9-5, 1-2 NWOAL). The game was ties 16-16, but the Vikings pulled away with a 28-18 second half.

Archbold 40 Liberty Center 33

LIBERTY CENTER – The Bluestreaks (8-5, 2-1 NWOAL) grabbed a 10-3 after one quarter and held off the Tigers (5-7, 1-2 NWOAL) the rest of the way for a 40-33 win. Cade Brenner tallied 10 points to lead the Archbold attack.

Pettisville 45 Fayette 33

FAYETTE – Pettisville (8-6, 3-1 BBC) dominated the boards (25-11) and went 19/35 (54%) shooting as they knocked Fayette (10-4, 3-1 BBC) from the ranks of the unbeaten in the BBC.

Joey Ripke topped the scoring for the Blackbirds with 15, Cayden Jacoby had 14 (12 in the first half), and Jaret Beck added 10.

Elijah Lerma netted a game-high 19 points for Fayette, including accounting for all ten Fayette points in the second quarter.

Stryker 34 Montpelier 22

MONTPELIER – Teyvon Harris had 12 points and Levi Barnum added 10 to help the Panthers (6-9, 1-3 BBC) earned their first win in BBC play this season. Montpelier’s (2-11, 0-4 BBC) offense was led by Jamison Grime with seven.

North Central 57 Holgate 51

PIONEER – Holgate (4-10, 1-3 BBC) had no answer for Eagle senior Zach Hayes who dropped 30 points as North Central (8-4, 4-0 BBC) pulled out a 57-51 win. Joey Burt also reached double figures for the Eagles with three field goals and an 8/8 effort at the free throw line for 14 points.

JUNIOR VARSITY: North Central, 39-29

Wayne Trace 63 Edgerton 30

EDGERTON -Wayne Trace (12-1, 4-0 GMC) shot a blistering 60% (27/45) from the field and forced 23 turnovers by Edgerton as they rolled to a 63-30 win. Cory Herman led the Edgerton (3-11, 0-4 GMC) offense with a bucket and two triples for eight points on the night.
