BOYS BOWLING

Liberty Center 2,305 Evergreen 2,100

NAPOLEON – Landon Amstutz (174, 225) and Tim Blanton (204, 195) each turned in a 399 series in the Tigers (7-1, 6-1 NWOAL) win at home over Evergreen. Mason Luttrell had the high series for the Vikings (1-7, 1-6 NWOAL) with a 348 (195, 153) followed by a 346 (131, 215) from Mitchell Gillen and Derek Cobb added 343 (172, 171).

Bryan 2,244 Delta 2,015

SWANTON – Matt Meade and LeLyn Boothman rolled opening games of 216 and 200 respectively as Bryan (6-1, 5-1 NWOAL) knocked off the Panthers. Meade totaled a 405 series while Boothman and Iestyn Siders (156, 189) each tallied 345s. Kaden Hawkins paced Delta (2-5, 1-5 NWOAL) with games of 145 and 152 for a 333.


GIRLS BOWLING

Bryan 1,997 Delta 1,850

SWANTON – Faith Harding and Jessica Federspiel each had games of 201 and Harding finished with a 399 series and Federspiel had a 364 to lead the way for Bryan (3-3, 2-3 NWOAL). Ciarra Flickinger posted the high series for Delta (2-4, 1-4 NWOAL) with a 365 (166, 199).

Liberty Center 2,145 Evergreen 1,994


NAPOLEON – Liberty Center 6-0, 6-0 NWOAL) took a 1,759-1,544 lead after match play and held on for the win despite Evergreen winning all three Baker Games. Kennedy Coolman fired the high game (208) and high series (349) to front the Evergreen (3-4, 2-4 NWOAL) effort.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Swanton 48 Cardinal Stritch 34

SWANTON – Swanton used a 17-9 second quarter to take control to pickup a nonconference win over Cardinal Stritch 48-34. Emma Crow paced three Bulldogs (8-5) in double figures with 14 points, Jayden Hendricks had 13, and Alaina Pelland added 10.

JUNIOR VARSITY: Swanton, 47-10

Toledo Bowsher 65 Evergreen 49

METAMORA –Bowsher led 32-19 at halftime and cruised to a 65-49 victory at Evergreen (7-5). No stats were reported.

JUNIOR VARSITY: Evergreen, 39-14

BOYS BASKETBALL

MVCD 51 Fayette 50 (OT)

FAYETTE – The Hawks rallied from a 20-15 deficit at halftime to force overtime where they pulled out a 51-50 win. Elijah Lerma spearheaded the Eagles (8-2) offense with 23 points and Quinn Mitchell tallied 18.

Swanton 37 Ottawa Hills 36

OTTAWA HILLS – The Bulldogs improved their overall record to 10-2 by edging the Green Bears 37-36. No stats were reported.

JUNIOR VARSITY: Ottawa Hills, 41-35

FRESHMAN: Swanton, 48-15
