The Lady Blackbirds Forced To Land By The North Central Lady Eagles

PETTISVILLE – The Pettisville Lady ‘Birds squared off against the North Central Eagles on September 18, losing a hard-fought game in 4 sets, 25-18, 24-26, 15-25, and 21-25.

Emily Hubby had a monster performance with 5 aces, 9 digs, 8 assists, and 7 kills. Emily Eicher had 9 digs as well, also scoring 2 aces, 2 kills, and 2 blocks. Jordyn Pursel led the team with 11 digs, also contributing 2 aces and 4 kills, while Carley Hoffmire added 10 digs of her own. Dana Fricke made her presence felt with 3 aces, 1 dig, 7 kills, and 2 blocks. Ashlynn Waidelich led the team with 8 kills while also scoring 1 ace and adding 3 digs and 1 block. Claire Fry had a team high 9 assists along with 1 dig and 1 kill. Devon Friend contributed 1 dig as well. Molly Bruner had 1 dig and 1 kill on the night. Stephanie Hubby and Emily Kauffman also contributed 1 kill a piece as well as 8 and 2 digs respectively.
