HICKSVILLE – The Edon Lady Bombers’ cold start against Edgerton on December 21 cost them the game, as well as a shot at the Route 49 Classic championship. Edgerton went on an early 15-8 run to establish a margin that the Belles in Bomber Blue were never able to overcome as they fell by a 41-30 score.
Hannah Brehm-Gutting led the Lady Bombers with 7 points in the paint, with Kaitlyn Sonneberger and Baylee Gearhart each netting 6 points and Kaitlin Chrisman 5. Alex Kiess was held to 4 points, and Jordan Matthews had 2.
