LIBERTY CENTER: April 29-The Pettisville Blackbirds hit the road on April 29 for a NWOAL/BBC showdown with the Liberty Center Tigers, falling 6-1 to drop to 2-10 on the season while sitting at 2-4 in the BBC.
Noah Miller took the setback, going 4 innings while allowing 6 runs off of 6 hits. Eli King also saw action in the loss, going 2 innings allowing no hits and no runs.
In the batter’s box for the Blackbirds, it was a tough day offensively; Eli King went 2 for 3 while Tate Kauffman also turned in a 2 for 3 day at the plate. Dustin Nofzinger went 1 for 3, powering out a solo homerun for the Blackbirds only run on the game.
