Two short sessions were held by Williams County Commissioners on Monday, February 1 and Thursday, February 4, 2021, along with one Executive Session and one Announcement for the public.
During the February 1 session the commissioners voted to approve:
•Resolution 57 Supplemental Appropriations on behalf of Williams County Board of Developmental Disabilities; Common Pleas Court and Job and Family Services
•Also Signed: Dog Warden Report for January 18 – 24, 2021; Proclamation for February 7-14, 2021 as Congenital Heart Defect Awareness Week in Williams County (“Whereas Congenital Heart Defect Awareness Week provides an opportunity for families whose lives have been affected to celebrate life, to remember loved ones lost, to honor dedicated health professionals, and to meet others and know they are not alone” was part of the Proclamation)
•Minutes for January 28 and bills as submitted
From 9 a.m. to 9:38 a.m. they were in Executive Session to talk about discipline, with no action taken and the adjournment of the days session occurred at 9:38.
The Thursday session held the approval of:
•Resolution 58 Supplemental appropriation on behalf of WC Prosecutor
•Resolution 59 Approving transfer on behalf of JFS of $792 TANF from Public Assistance to Child Support Enforcement Agency to reimburse RMS activity from October through December 2020 for TANF purpose 2
•Resolution 60 Approving Transfer on behalf of JFS of $1001 TANF (PRC) from Public Assistance to Public Children Services Agency to reimburse Direct Costs from October through December 2020 for TANF purpose
•Resolution 61 Entering into an IV-E Contract with Inner Peace Homes at a cost not to exceed $10,000
•Resolution 62 Advertising for Sealed Bids project 4-2021 Asphalt Emulsion Products
•Resolution 63 Amending Resolution #21-0044 on behalf of WC Recorder with eRecording Partners Network, LLC
•Also Signed: 2020 County Highway System Mileage Certification; OCEAN Users and Role Assignment form; Contract Execution Extension by Mutual Consent – Kunkle Wastewater system improvements Division A and Division B; Monthly Expenditures for Credit Cards for the months of January and February for Prosecutor’s and Recorder’s office; Dog Warden Report Week of January 25-31; Monthly report of all dogs seized, impounded, surrendered, redeemed and destroyed month ending January 31, 2021
•Minutes for February 1 session and bills as submitted
Before adjourning, Commissioner Terry Rummel informed the other commissioners that the Call Center that is being formatted for the Health Department to assist with Vaccine related phone calls, is “coming along nicely” and should be up and running by Monday, February 8, 2021.
