FCCC Board Of Education Approves Resolution Regarding Tax Levy Rates & Amounts

The February Meeting of the Four County Career Center Board of Education was held on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 6:30 p.m.

As part of the Treasurer’s Report, the Board accepted and/or approved the following items:

•January Organizational and Regular Meeting Minutes.

•Financial statements and investments for the month of January 2021 as presented.

•Appropriation Modifications as presented.


•Updated Veterinary Assistant Senior Cost Sheet for 2020-21.

•Resolution Accepting the Amounts and Rates as Determined by the Budget Commission and Authorizing the Necessary Tax Levies and Certifying Them to the County Auditor for FY22.

As part of the Superintendent’s Report, the board accepted and/or approved the following items:


•Resignations for the purpose of retirement for Steve Hootman, Auto Body Instructor and Terry Eis, Building and Grounds Supervisor.

•A three-year contract for Dean Detmer, Supervisor.

•Kyle Bostater as RESA Coordinator for the remainder of the year.


•To move David DeLano to the Master’s Column effective second semester.

•Full pay of regular contracted wages in excess of $511 per day for affected certified employees who utilized leave under FFCRA.

•Custodial and Secretarial Substitutes as presented.

•To employ Joshua Golden, Maintenance.

•Adult Education Instructors as presented.

•Donations from Allied Moulded Products, Inc. and YG-1 USA.


•Culinary Arts Course of Study.

•2021 Board Committees as presented.

•Board Policies as presented.

•CRA Acknowledgement, waiver and consent for the following:
-Brad Schlachter
-Schwarzbek Investments, LTD./Iron Horse Brews
-CRA#3 and CRA#4 Expansions

Upcoming meetings involving members of the Four County Career Center Board of Education include the regular March Board Meeting on March 18, 2021, 6:30 p.m., in the Board Room at Four County Career Center.
