(September 8th, 2014)-PETTISVILLE: In a junior varsity showdown, the Lady Blackbirds of Pettisville hosted the Delta Panthers on Tuesday. The visiting Panthers proved to be too strong for Pettisville that night, however.
Game 1 stayed within the Panthers’ control from start to finish. The Blackbirds dropped the set 12-25. The second set went almost exactly the same way. Pettisville was again overtaken by the score of 12-25.
The JV Lady Blackbirds maintain a 4-3 record, and are still a perfect 1-0 in BBC play.
