Wauseon Edges Out Tough CompetitionAt Ironwood

(September 15th, 2014)-WAUSEON: Hosting two powerful NWOAL rivals, the Indians of Wauseon were prepared for a true battle to defend their home course. The Archbold Bluestreaks and Liberty Center Tigers made their way to Wauseon to take on the Indians at Ironwood Golf Course. The match was a tough one, but the boys from Wauseon rose the challenge, winnin the tri-match with a total of 159, while the Blue Streaks and Tigers shot a 169 and 171 as a team, respectively.

The Indians followed the lead of Trevor Dominique, who swung his way to a 36. Brady Rupp completed the course in 37 strokes for Wauseon, while fellow Indians David williams and Noah Stickley each put up a 43 to finish the team’s scoring.

Archbold’s Ian Radabaugh received medalist status for the match, firing a 35. The next closest Blue Streak was Brandon Miller, who shot a 45. Liberty Center was led in scoring by Zach Sidel and his score of 40.
