(September 18th, 2014)-PIONEER: The Junior Varsity Lady Eagles took on the Lady Cadets of Hilltop on Thursday and came away victorious. The match was a tough one, however, as it took three sets to determine the winner.
North Central was able to fend off a strong Cadet attack in game 1, taking the set 25-20. Hilltop didn’t let up, earning a win in the second set 25-21. Game 3 saw the Lady Eagles pull away for the win, though, as they took the set 25-11.
Kelsie Sutton made 9 kills for the Lady Eagles. Teammate Kelsie Beres served 6 aces. Makalya Rizor managed 4 digs in the victory as well.
